Contract Amount: $ 7,648.460.00
Project Included: The demolishment of an abandoned railroad bridge. Tasks included the demolition of a boardwalk, wood railings, timber ties, tracks, bridge piers, approaches, concrete abutments, pile caps, asphalt roadway and footings. In addition, TLC constructed a parapet wall, placed asphalt concrete pavement, installed safety railings, bicycle trail striping and signage, fencing, irrigation systems and landscaping of trees, shrubs, groundcover, and hydro-seeding. The second contract included site clearing, obstruction removal, diversion and control of surface water flows, fill compaction, installation of crushed stone bedding and geotextile materials and the placement of rip-rap cover.

Project Included: Providing equipment, transportation and labor to remove approx… 100,000 tons of sediment and debris from Haines Canyon debris basin and temporarily stockpile and Haines Canyon debris Basin. This was an emergency response project due to recent wild fires and heavy rainstorms. Project also consisted of dewatering while performing work.

Project Included: Emergency Debris Removal of 6 debris basins at San Antonio Heights Intercept System. Excavated and hauled approx… 50,000 cubic yards of debris consisting of boulders, sand, gravels and silt vegetation. This was an emergency project as a result of recent fires and heavy rain storms, performed on a time and material basis. We were required to mobilize immediately and plan and execute the project and maximize daily removals to clean out the basins ahead of forecasted additional storms and associated debris deposits.

Project also included the demolition of Buildings 212,215,219,220 and 224 and associated concrete slabs, footings and asphalt. Location, termination and capping of all utilities and on-site crushing of concrete to be re-used on future parking lot contracts.

Surrounding items shall be protected in place as directed. The project also includes the removal and appropriate disposal of hazardous waste and materials.

Completed demolishing five (5) drive in theatres in Southern California, including the Anaheim Drive in theatre (Lemon Ave at 91 Freeway) the Highway 39 Drive In (Beach Blvd. at 91 Freeway) and the Buena Park Drive In (Lincoln Street and Holder Blvd.) We also provided demolition services at the Redlands Business Center, Bank of America Building (1810 Ximeno Ave), commercial buildings at 5491 Los Coyotes Diagonal and three other sites on Bellflower Blvd.

STATE OF CALIFORNIA

Completed Emergency Services during the Northridge Earthquake, we removed 2 freeway abutments on the Santa Monica 10 Freeway at La Cienaga and we performed 11 month restoration at Cal State University Northridge.
